A big move is ahead for Sendoso. The leading Sending Platform™ is expanding in Arizona by relocating its corporate headquarters to Phoenix and bringing 1,000 new jobs.

Company leaders announced the decision in April.

Sendoso relocates headquarters to Arizona

Starting in November 2022, Sendoso headquarters will relocate from San Francisco, California to Phoenix. Plans are underway for a 58,000 square-foot office space at The Grove in Phoenix’s historic Arcadia neighborhood.

The move puts Sendoso headquarters close to the company’s 190,000 square-foot, Phoenix-based warehouse and gifting platform distribution center. It’s a move applauded by Arizona leadership and Sendoso President and Chief Operating Officer Michelle Palleschi.

We are absolutely thrilled to expand our footprint in Arizona and support job growth. Our new state-of-the-art office space will inspire employees to connect and collaborate in a meaningful way, while also providing them with the flexibility to work in a hybrid environment.

Michelle Palleschi

President and Chief Operating Officer

For Palleschi, it’s all about empowering employees to do their best work in the location they choose.

Adding to the Arizona economy

Leaders in Arizona agree.

“Our skilled talent, innovative ecosystem, quality of life, and supportive business environment are top reasons tech companies like Sendoso choose Phoenix,” said Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego.

She and Arizona Governor Doug Ducey both welcome the move and look forward to Sendoso’s growth in the Phoenix economy.

“It’s great to see yet another California company relocating to Arizona for more opportunity,” added Ducey. “Sendoso’s new headquarters and operations are further cementing Arizona’s reputation as the best place to do business in the country.”

Sendoso employees in Arizona perform vital functions for the company in areas such as human resources, warehouse management, and sales. However, Sendoso will retain a strong presence in California by employing nearly 200 people. Sendoso also operates offices in Ireland and Pakistan to support their automated sending platform worldwide.

Creating hybrid work options

The relocation helps Sendoso adapt to the evolving work environments. A new study shows that 72% of businesses lack a detailed hybrid workplace strategy and 76% don’t have the right key performance indicators (KPIs) to support hybrid working models.

Empowering employees with hybrid and remote working options is critical to Sendoso’s growth.

“We know that the way we work is continuing to evolve, and to ensure that we continue to thrive we are committed to listen, learn and refine our strategy as we move forward to support our employees,” explains Palleschi.

Sendoso is in a unique position with clear OKRs that foster a hybrid work structure across the entire company on a global scale.

“There are a growing number of companies making a hybrid return to the office and we’re happy to see Sendoso deepen its roots in the region, relocating its corporate headquarters to Phoenix,” said Chris Camacho, President and CEO of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council. “Greater Phoenix offers an opportunity for tech companies to grow and thrive and we look forward to being a partner in their continued success.”

Perks at the new headquarters

It’s Sendoso’s top priority to build a space that supports balanced work experiences. Creating hybrid teams allows team members the flexibility of spending time in the office and working from home.

The Grove office space focuses on collaboration and wellness by offering employees perks as part of their hybrid working arrangement. The two-story, open multipurpose space includes a:

  • game room
  • fully stocked bar
  • fitness room
  • large event space
  • full height glass perimeter that wraps the floor
  • high open ceiling, making it energizing and inviting

Expanding Sendoso leadership and hiring

Sendoso is further supporting company growth by welcoming its newest Chief People Officer, Alexis Kavazanjian, to the team.

Kavazanjian joins Sendoso with nearly two decades of human resources and operational leadership experience. She brings a proven track record of scaling high-growth organizations. The new CPO will be responsible for developing and driving strategic aspects of the People Operations and Talent Acquisition function.
