Challenge

Scott Haney, revenue operations at Chili Piper, focuses on enabling his sales team with tools that create net new sales opportunities across the buyer’s journey. The sales team started to gain traction in influencing pipeline by sending branded Chili Piper hot sauce to their prospects. However, sending manually was proving to be difficult as it was time-consuming, preventing them to send at scale. Scott was looking for a platform that could help them send hundreds of bottles of hot sauce with a click of a button, and allow them to add on additional send ideas to help increase meeting show rates.

Strategy

Sendoso removed all of the manual work around Chili Piper’s sending campaigns. With the ability to add Sendoso into any cadence in Salesloft, Scott enables his sales reps to select qualified leads to add to their “hot sauce” cadence. By eliminating the manual effort of sending, they had more time to up-level their send with a custom box and a handwritten note telling prospects to, “Spice up the office!”

The cadence begins with an email letting the prospect know that they will be receiving a gift within the next few days. Once the hot sauce is delivered, Sendoso sends each sales rep a notification so they know to continue to the cadence, which resumes with a call and email asking if the prospect received their gift. Once the meeting is booked using Chili Piper, the sales reps send a $5 coffee eGift card on the day of the meeting to help increase meeting show rates.

Sendoso opened up an additional channel for us to make a great touchpoint to increase engagement, book sales meetings, and optimize every touchpoint of the buyer’s journey.

Results

Since implementing Sendoso, Chili Piper has been able to scale their programs to reach 4X the amount of prospects than they were able to before, resulting in a 23X increase in influenced pipeline. Additionally, the use of the coffee eGift reminder resulted in 33% increase in meeting show rates.
